BOLD, Inc. is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their highest levels of independence, based on their unique desires and interests. Whether living on their own, in a group home, or a lifesharing home with family or friends, these individuals receive compassionate support from our highly trained team at BOLD.

In addition to our individualized support services, BOLD, Inc. also offers respite care for families in need of self-care or assistance during emergencies.

As our organization has grown, our management team has remained actively involved, ensuring a hands-on approach to meeting the needs of the individuals we serve. We firmly believe that staying connected to direct care is essential for staying attuned to their needs, regardless of our administrative responsibilities.

Our passionate team boasts over 70 years of experience in the field. Navigating the obstacles of waiver services can be frustrating and time-consuming. Our dedicated management team works diligently to overcome these obstacles, providing many layers of support for our individuals.

With more than 28 years of experience in the IDD field, Kim recognized that there was a void for families who needed respite care for their adult family members with IDD. Personally knowing families who had never had a break or a vacation for 30+ years, she set about finding a way to provide these families some much needed time for themselves. She assembled an experienced and passionate team of managers and direct support providers who shared her commitment to the IDD community. She hand-picked the best to accompany her in this endeavor to think beyond what was to what could be. BOLD, Inc. is Kim’s passion project. Families, individuals and staff are grateful to be part of her vision.

Samantha loves to connect with people and is passionate about what she does. After spending over a decade working at Child Protective Services, Samantha has never lost her desire to help people lead a fulfilling life. Samantha decided to explore working with people with IDD again, as she did throughout High School and College. Samantha found an ideal situation when Kim proposed she help her open BOLD. Kim had a fresh new vision of supporting individuals with IDD. This opportunity allows her to be part of building a program that fits her ideals. Samantha is very proud to be a member of the BOLD team.
